My students have been working with me throughout this pandemic to see how they learn best through their laptops. My students voiced that they learned best when I am working at my board in the classroom and facing my laptop towards me while I teach. I am able to model lessons, guide, and help my students via remote learning this way so it is more engaging, but they struggle to hear what I am saying, and it isn't any clearer after they watch the live lesson back. My hope is that the earbuds with mic will help my students hear what I am saying for a smoother learning experience and that the headset will help both the class and virtual learners when we go hybrid.
