Your donation has brought such energy to our reading intervention sessions. I've watched reluctant readers get excited to talk about their family's own stories of survival and ask questions about climate change and what if scenarios, getting them back to reading more! The relevent topics—bravery, survival and climat science—hook them immediately because these are the real challenges they face.\r\nThis fall one of the 7th graders reading intervention said that the books there are \"actually useful, not just ELA stuff,\" and I couldn't have asked for better feedback!
