My hope is to get a projector and document camera to use during class so that I can utilize student work to drive student learning. Each lesson, students will be able to lead each other through class by posting their work on the board (using the document camera and projector) for the rest of their classmates to see. Then, they can engage in a rich mathematical discussion with a student leader facilitating, going over the conceptual underpinnings and common missteps that occur in the day's topic. Having student facilitators lead discussions will build leadership skills as well as deepen mathematical understandings.
