I can not thank you enough for your generous donation of the headphones and extra supplies that my students are so excited for! I am incredibly grateful for my new megaphone. I often feel like I am nothing without one when I'm outside. If I try to speak loudly, my throat starts feeling sore and it doesn't go well. Having the megaphone while doing outside duty is a real game changer. I can tell people information from far away, which has helped with safety and efficiency. I love my new Megaphone!! I think other teachers are even jealous and I can understand why! ; ) I am excited to use the supplies for bracelets later on in the year, when my students need extra incentives, so thank you for those things as well. Many students have benefited. Some of the students have really enjoyed the additions to the book 'Twas the Night Before Thanksgiving. They worked on \"Wh questions, sequence of the story and story grammar elements. These visuals and aides really helped the learning come to life. \r\nI also used some of the resources on year round story grammar resources. Students have enjoyed the Halloween and Holiday ones up to this point so far. It is great to see the icons for characters, setting or feeling/emotions and then them starting to learn these and identify these parts of the story when they hear them in a story they read or a story being read to them.\r\nThe last two resources I'd like to say thanks for are digital describing and articulation games. Describing is a useful tool and when you can combine it with technology with choices the students really buy into it and want to keep doing it. Sometimes they are tricked into it as a game instead of learning and working on their goals. I could say the same for the articulation games. Anyway we can make the practicing that we do that is sometimes repetitive fun is always a win.
