My preschoolers' skill levels vary in range. Some of them need accommodations and extra support and others need to be challenged often. One thing that continues to be the same, is that learning happens through play and in a variety of settings. Since they need to be exposed to a skill in different ways, I believe this light table will provide learning opportunities we don't get often.
Your donation to this project will help our typical and students with disabilities turn the lights on their learning.
By playing on this light table, our littles will be able to engage with materials and peers for longer periods of time as this is a source of sensory input for some of them. They will all have an opportunity to discover new things as they bring materials to the shining light. Our visually impaired students will benefit from the high contrast that the table and materials create, giving all of our students, no matter their skill level, the ability to expand their learning in the classroom.
