These resources will be used in the Wellness Room where they come for 10-15 to work through their emotions. We use these tools to talk through some of the social-emotional needs of the kids. It allows the children to calm down and especially deescalate when angry. This room has been a great help for the teachers to be able to continue to work with the other 29 students in class and send the one that needs extra attention or a moment to calm down to come work with me. We say "Come to calm to Return to Learn." Some of the supplies will be used to sanitize between uses and help keep the room free from viruses.
