While many people use cameras casually at home, our students are learning how technology can be used professionally in education, media, and athletics. Students are now able to capture high-quality photos and videos during games, practices, and school events, helping them develop real-world skills in photography, editing, storytelling, and digital media production.\r\n\r\nOne of the most exciting parts for our students is seeing themselves and their teammates highlighted in professional-style sports photos and social media posts. These moments build school pride, confidence, and excitement around our programs. Students love being able to relive big plays, victories, and team memories through high-quality images that they can share with family and friends.\r\n\r\nThe cameras have also created opportunities for students who may not always be in the spotlight. Some students have discovered a passion for sports photography, videography, and content creation behind the scenes. These students are becoming more involved in school activities, learning how to operate equipment, frame shots, edit media, and contribute creatively to our athletic programs. For many, it has become a way to connect with the school community and build skills that could lead to future careers in media, journalism, marketing, or sports production.\r\n\r\nOur athletes benefit as well. Coaches can review game footage and photos to help students improve technique, understand positioning, and celebrate growth throughout the season. Families also appreciate having access to memorable moments that capture their children's hard work and dedication.\r\n\r\nOverall, this technology has strengthened school culture, increased student engagement, and provided meaningful learning opportunities that go far beyond simply taking pictures.","fullyFundedDate":1768149104170,"projectUrl":"project/sports-photos/9996940/","projectTitle":"Sports Photos","teacherDisplayName":"Mr. Rivera","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp7561258_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1629442780348","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/volleyball"},{"teacherId":4785730,"projectId":10034188,"letterContent":"The SEL materials and snacks have made a meaningful difference in our counseling office and have quickly become an important part of students' daily support system. Students who were once hesitant to share their feelings became more engaged and willing to participate because the activities felt safe, interactive, and supportive. The snacks have also helped students feel welcomed and cared for, especially those who arrive upset, anxious, or hungry. Many students smiled with excitement when they first saw the new resources and immediately asked when they could use them again.\r\n\r\nBecause of your generosity, our counseling office is now a space where students feel comfortable learning emotional regulation, building confidence, and practicing positive social skills.
