The science experiment kits and items will allow my student to be more hands-on while incorporating math(1.K.3, 1.K.4,4.K.9) and fulfill COVID-related learning. The children will measure, count, communicate, and sort/match depending on the items/kits used. Using these science experiments will create cognitive thinking skills(cause and effect) and promote new vocabulary( 7.K.3). Using the light table the children will be encouraged to engage in cooperative groups to work on a task such as spelling names or sight words with the transparent letters(5.PK.2a). That also includes using their fine motor skills(6.PK.1).
