The iPads are mobile desktops for the health office staff because we can obtain medical information or emergency contacts and relay information to other staff members as opposed to having to go to our office. The iPads will be used school wide and be accessible even on the playgrounds. iPads provide a safe avenue to assess or transport sick children from the classroom as opposed to having them sit in a rooms with other students which could potentially spread illness or COVID. Another caveat is my FASA (an aspiring nursing student) will have access to learning the "telehealth process" that is now becoming an important part of nursing care.
