Flexible seating is going to provide ALL my students with choice and comfort as they are working in groups and independently around the room. Approximately half my class is having trouble seeing the whiteboard, so flexible seating will provide options for them to sit closer to the board and have a small desk to allow them better comfort for writing. Hand writing will improve as well. My students beg for more independent reading time each day. Being able to to be comfortable and choice will engage my students to learn. ELA standards for Reading Literature and Writing standards will be taught with the read aloud books.
