Students created Adobe Express presentations and imagined their god/goddess through AI. They also imagined what Mt. Olympus looked like and created Greek columns and architecture with the building materials that were donated.\r\n\r\nWe used this information as background knowledge when we jumped into reading the Percy Jackson series books you donated to our class. The students were OBSESSED! They enjoyed answering challenging questions, they made full sized character charts and even compared the reading to the Disney+ characters and show. The new yellow balls were flying everywhere! It was delightful to watch all of my students be so excited for the new items.\r\n\r\nThe new tricycles have a spot on the back for a friend to ride on, which has really changed the way they ride. It is not only a gross motor activity, but the 2 students talk and imagine different situations as they ride together. It is also good for students that struggle to peddle the tricycles because now they can ride too!\r\n\r\nYour donation has made a huge impact on my students. They are talking more, interacting more, practicing their gross motor skills, and learning through play.
