I like to give my students all that they need to learn. Sometimes sitting at their desks is not the best option. So I try to provide flexible seating options to best help them focus. I am hoping the standing table, the bouncy bands and the stability balls will help my more distracted learners to focus. I also want them to develop a love for reading. Providing high interest, quality texts is so important. I am working to provide a variety of genres and books that are relevant to their diverse backgrounds. My students have varied interests. It is becoming more and more difficult to get them interested in reading in this world full of technology. I need books for read alouds as well as independent reading.
