I am a fourth year special education teacher specialized in Autism Spectrum Disorder in Clark County School District, Las Vegas, Nevada. It is a challenging field but also rewarding. I feel accomplished in making a difference in my students' life when they make progress and achieve their goals. Seeing them grow academically, socially and behaviorally inspires me to improve myself as a teacher through research and evidence-based practices and professional development. My ultimate goal is to equip my students with practical skills to be independent, to have quality of life, and to become contributing members of society.
