Overall the students were genuinely excited, and extremely thankful. Many of them don't always come to class with the supplies they need, so having consistent access to these basic tools created a sense of readiness and inclusion right away. Instead of worrying about borrowing or going without, students were able to fully focus on learning.\r\n\r\nWe recently used these supplies during our propaganda poster project, and the difference was clear. Students used the notebooks and paper to brainstorm ideas and draft their messages, highlighters to identify key themes and persuasive techniques in historical examples, and rulers to carefully plan out their layouts. With access to markers, pens, and pencils, they were able to create detailed, colorful, and thoughtful final posters. The project felt more professional and engaging because every student had the tools they needed.\r\n\r\nStudent reactions were overwhelmingly positive. Many expressed pride in their work and appreciation for having their own materials to use. The quality of their projects improved, but even more importantly, their confidence and participation grew.
