These tools allow me to create more engaging, hands-on lessons that support a variety of learning styles.\r\n\r\nThe candy you provided has also been a fun and effective way to motivate and celebrate student effort and growth. It has been so much fun watching the kids dive into these new activities. One of my students, who is usually very reluctant to throw things to people, actually used the new velcro ball and paddle to play with a partner. It was a huge win for their gross motor skills and a great way for them to interact with a peer. The kids are also obsessed with the talking toys; they get so surprised by the funny voices, and it really motivates them to keep practicing their throwing and catching.\r\n\r\nThe Big Buddy Buttons have been a total hit, too. Students are so motivated to move their arms and practice pushing the buttons just to see what happens, like making the dog flip. It's been especially great because the gen-ed peers have become really interested in helping them with those button-pushing skills, which creates such a nice inclusive environment.\r\n\r\nWhile the talking equipment and buttons are big highlights, the other supplies like the soccer goals, agility ladder, and hula hoop connectors have been just as essential. The students were so excited to see boxes of supplies arrive just for them. They enjoyed helping me organize the materials for our classroom use, and we eager to get busy using them in our learning activities.\r\n\r\nSince receiving our donations, the students have engaged in many collaborative and interactive math activities. One of the most immediately used materials were our dry erase markers! We have vertical whiteboards surrounding our classroom, so the students love demonstrating their thinking with the markers frequently. At the whiteboards, the students have also used the colored paper we received to choose collaborative problem-solving tasks at varying levels of difficulty. They also loved using the Dry Erase Pockets to participate in classroom scavenger hunts without the need to waste lots of paper. Students have used our glue sticks to add interactive elements to their notebooks, our markers to color-code notes, and our folders/sheet protectors to organize important handouts they want to save. Last but not least, the incentive sticker charts have been a great motivator to keep students engaged in their weekly digital learning. Because of your kindness, my students now have access to resources that are already making a meaningful difference in our classroom.\r\n\r\nWe have been using the new materials ежедневно in our lessons, and they've truly transformed the way my students engage with learning. Recently, we worked on a collaborative project where students used these resources to research and present on topics they are passionate about. One moment that stood out was watching a typically quiet student confidently share their ideas with the class, using the new tools to guide their presentation—it was a powerful reminder of how access can build both skills and confidence.\r\n\r\nWhen the materials first arrived, the excitement in the room was immediate and genuine. Students were eager to explore everything, asking questions and diving right in. Their enthusiasm has carried over into our daily work, making our classroom more dynamic and interactive.\r\n\r\nLooking ahead, we are continuing to build on this momentum. Our next step is a deeper project where students will apply what they've learned to solve real-world problems, using these resources to research, collaborate, and create thoughtful solutions. Your support is helping them develop critical thinking skills and a love of learning that will extend far beyond our classroom.\r\n\r\nThank you again for believing in my students and for making this opportunity possible. Our school is fortunate enough to have our own therapy dog- a yellow lab named Freddy. Freddy spends the majority of his time in the gym with us in PE. He has an elevated dog bed that needs regular cleaning and our kids help with the tasks required to take care of him. There is always a student who is excited to vacuum his bed and keep it tidy. These selfless acts of service for Freddy, are meaningful and sincere. I love this for both the students and Fred.\r\n\r\nAnother thing our students do is help maintain or create content for Fred's Instagram page. This helps kids who might not otherwise see Fred as a regular part of their day stay connected to him. They really love it. One of the tools the kids use on Fred is a GoPro. As you can imagine, with him running around outside with the kids it needed some protecting. It works so well- and Fred can run and the kids can film without worry.\r\n\r\nOur large PE class sizes also require a large amount of equipment. With such regular use, our equipment wears out fast and we needed more outdoor basketballs. You can tell already, from our photos, how much use they've gotten. We appreciate having being able to have nice equipment for the kids to use.\r\n\r\nThe desk we received makes things so much more comfortable for the students when they're putting in their heart rate, tracking mile times or PACER scores or logging FitnessGram scores. The computer used to sit on our uneven, plastic bleachers and used to slip and slide around and sometimes fall. This is so much easier and more comfortable for them to come up to, enter their scores, and move on.
