Jolly Ranchers, pens, colored pencils and colored paper are a quick motivator even for the most reluctant participants. Positive notes will allow me to connect with students on a more personal level. Hands on materials to learn about coordinate planes will help to make the learning more meaningful. Showing the students that learning math is fun and a labor love will help to set them up for a positive outlook for years to come. I want all of my students to have the desire to come to school and know that they are loved!!
