Our Title I school recently became a STEM school. I want to make sure my students get to experience what science is really like and how it impacts their everyday life. Some of them have never performed a lab or had the opportunity to understand the science which surrounds them. The majority of our students cannot even afford the basic school supplies needed to help them succeed, so I am asking for your help to supply my science students with binders to help them get organized and prepared for an awesome year of science and labs! These binders will not only serve them for this school year, but they will be able to take it with them as an organized study guide for the cumulative grade 6 - 8 Science CRT exam next year. As a scientist myself, I am really excited to share my love of science with these students and hopefully encourage them to develop a passion for it too! I'm hoping that by supplying my students with the proper materials I am not only setting them up for success this upcoming school year, but also showing that I care about them as well as their education!
