While many families are familiar with these items at home, using them intentionally in an educational setting has opened up brand-new learning opportunities.\r\nThe Magnatiles and magnetic boards have become powerful hands-on tools for building math, engineering, and problem-solving skills. Students use them to create structures, explore shapes, and experiment with balance and design. They're not just playing—they're discovering how pieces fit together, testing ideas, and learning to revise their thinking when something doesn't work the first time.\r\nThe drawing boards have supported our learners in becoming more confident creators and communicators. Students are practicing labeling, storyboarding, and illustrating their ideas. These boards are especially helpful for students who express their thinking better through pictures before writing.\r\nOur fidget games have made a major difference during after-school hours. They help students who need movement or sensory input stay calm, focused, and ready to learn or participate. They've quickly become part of our routine to support emotional regulation and encourage positive social interactions.\r\nWhat excites students most is the freedom and creativity these materials give them. With your support and donation, our students have had access to materials that have not only helped them feel successful, but have given them access to a curriculum that was not previously designed for their type of learning. \r\n\r\nThe alphabet and sight word journals have given my reluctant readers confidence as they complete the pages and look back on the work they have done. For the first time, many of them have a sense of accomplishment in FINISHING a whole workbook. The colorful Dot Markers have made the activities fun & engaging for everyone. \r\n\r\nThe School-Rite handwriting guides have helped the students with dyslexia and dysgraphia practice the routine of writing each number and implement it into their own independent writing. \r\n\r\nLastly, the gift card to Teachers pay Teachers has been so impactful in not only the students' learning, but my teaching and planning as well. I have struggled with some of our curriculums limitations when it comes time to accommodations and modification, but the TPT website has allowed me to connect with materials that provide that access for our special students. \r\n\r\nThank you for being a friend of the Mather. The sensory toys and games you helped provide have become powerful tools for building the skills we focus on every single day. Students earn Bees on their \"Bee Trackers\" for showing our core values: Bee Safe, Bee Responsible, Bee Respectful, and Bee Kind, and now they can exchange those hard-earned Bees for items that are meaningful, motivating, and fun.\r\n\r\nThe first time our students saw the new materials, their faces lit up. They pointed out the items they hoped to save up for, made plans with their classmates, and talked excitedly about what they needed to do to meet their goals. One student told me, \"I'm going to try my hardest every day so I can come back to the Bee Store!\" Moments like this show just how impactful these resources truly are.\r\n\r\nWe're now using the Bee Store as an ongoing part of our SEL instruction. Students are setting goals, tracking their progress, supporting their classmates, and making thoughtful decisions about saving versus spending, skills they will carry far beyond the classroom. Our next step is helping students reflect on their choices and practice talking through their goals during our morning meetings and small-group SEL lessons.\r\n\r\nBecause of your generosity, our students aren't just earning rewards, they're learning responsibility, perseverance, and confidence.
