In June, my third grade students will celebrate the end of their year and their time at our K-3 school before starting 4th grade at different schools. These students have overcome all the challenges of distance learning to finish 3rd grade, and I want to celebrate their resilience and growth with a socially distanced graduation parade they will always remember. This project will provide supplies for a summer gift pack for each student and items they can decorate and wear to the parade. My students are playful, silly, curious, and proud of their accomplishments this year, and this care package will help us send our 3rd graders off with all the supplies they need for summer fun after an especially challenging year.
