Markers, crayons, notebooks and lap boards make it possible to capture these observations, to share with others, to review and reflect upon, and to modify and enhance. The school year can seem like a long time, especially to 6- and 7-year-olds. Notebooks and folders allow them to organize their observations and reflect on their thinking progression. By the end of the school year, they'll see how far they've come!
