This project has given me the opportunity to provide some of the most basic (and often most needed) classroom supplies! Students love the brightly colored pencil pouches, and they make carrying materials back and forth between classrooms a breeze!\r\nThis project has also helped me provide students with pencils and sharpeners, which are a supply that has a never-ending need! The individual sharpeners and mechanical pencils mean that students no longer have to get up in the middle of class to sharpen their pencils at the (very loud!) electric sharpener! This has really cut down on interruptions and distractions.\r\nThe privacy shields have also been a huge help to the students! They are a great way for students to protect their work when taking a test. They are also a great tool for students who just want a quiet place to work or play. Students can put them up to block out distractions around them, helping them to focus on their own work.\r\nThank you so much for donating to this project and helping me provide such wonderful materials for my students!","fullyFundedDate":1760446577881,"projectUrl":"project/back-to-school-basics/9477651/","projectTitle":"Back to School Basics","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Shaffer","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp5240504_orig.jpg?crop=1704,1704,x342,y0&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1553443017278","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/mrseshaffer"},{"teacherId":5240504,"projectId":9187883,"letterContent":"Thank you for making this amazing project a reality! They have been so careful to take such good care of them, keeping the headphones stored neatly in bags in the tops of their cubbies.\r\nThe headphones have also made our classroom a quieter place! During small group learning and indoor recess, students use the Spot It! game to practice observation, focus, and quick thinking. One memorable moment was when a group of students challenged each other to see who could find the matching symbol first. They were cheering each other on while also sharpening their attention and visual recognition skills.\r\n\r\nThe Tetra Tower stacking blocks and building blocks have been wonderful for teamwork and problem-solving. Students often work together to carefully stack pieces or build creative structures. It has been exciting to watch them communicate, plan, and adjust their strategies when their towers wobble or fall. These moments encourage perseverance and collaboration in a fun way.\r\n\r\nOur exercise dice have added a fun burst of movement to our day. We use them for quick brain breaks or during physical activity time. Students roll the dice and complete the exercise shown, which keeps them active, energized, and ready to refocus on learning.\r\n\r\nWhen the students first saw the materials, their excitement was immediate. They were eager to explore everything and couldn't wait to start playing and building. There were lots of smiles, laughter, and questions about when they could use the games again.\r\n\r\nMoving forward, we will continue using these materials to support teamwork, problem-solving, and movement in our classroom. The games will be used during indoor recess, small group activities, and classroom brain breaks to help students build both academic and social skills while staying engaged in learning.\r\n\r\nThank you for helping bring these meaningful learning opportunities into our classroom!","fullyFundedDate":1771470559132,"projectUrl":"project/teaming-up/10102983/","projectTitle":"Teaming Up","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Rugg","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/272x272/tp5132388_272x272.jpg?width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1537032904759","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/courtney-shepard"},{"teacherId":9412792,"projectId":10045640,"letterContent":"We first want to send our deepest gratitude for helping support our students and their education!
