I am a new teacher in my school district. I want my students to have as many hands on materials/activities as possible. I want to help my students by reinforcing skills taught like the CVC words game and the Sight Words games will do. I also wanted to add puzzles into my classroom for recess time. Puzzles are a great game/task to complete during an unstructured time. Puzzles will help build a students thinking and as well use motor skills. Puzzles also will help with social skills and group thinking if working together for completion. As a teacher, I want to give as much as I can for each student that steps foot into my classroom. I feel as if each item chosen will play a part in our every day classroom routine.
