Flexible seating not only gives my students choice, but also an incentive to use a special chair when learning. These bean bags and chairs help create a fun learning environment but give sensory input to students before, during and after instruction. If emotions stir and students become frustrated, I can easily allow them to take a break and cool off using a bean bag, special chair or fidget items. These hand held squeezable fidgets items can be used to not only for emotional regulation, but to help students stay focused when learning. I would love the opportunity to see these in action and feel the students would love using them on a daily basis.
