To be successful in today's society, students must have access to and be familiar with many types of technology. Having iPads to use in the classroom will greatly help my students acquire these technology skills and help them improve their other academic skills. They will use the iPads to reinforce basic math facts and other math concepts. Students will also use them to improve reading comprehension. They will allow the students to explore ideas discussed in science and social studies. The iPads will also be used as a positive behavior reward for students who make good behavior choices throughout the day. Through the use of educational games and apps, students will be able to learn while having fun! The students love using technology and will love having iPads in the classroom! Daily exposure to the iPads will help students become familiar with them and comfortable using them. They will be able to use the iPads during class and when they finish their seat work. Having iPads in the classroom will allow students immediate access to the technology they need to learn and be successful.
