I am a third-grade teacher in a rural Pennsylvania school district. Returning to school during a pandemic has made many of our usual classroom routines impossible to continue this fall. Students can not share supplies, so no more classroom scissor caddie in the back of the room for everyone to use! Students must take their own supplies to art class-that is the reason for the fun pencil pouches! I am hoping to help students stay organized with their own supplies as they travel from room to room. We also need to rethink the way we make a lunch choice in the morning, so we are using colored magnets to represent the lunch they would like to order. Our classroom behavior reward system also must be rethought. Instead of our usual system, we will use the magnet men to hold our reward chart. With your help, we can create new organization systems to benefit all of our kids as we welcome them back!
