At the end I add a drop of the liquid watercolors to each child's shaving cream....a drop of joy. I freeze the shaving cream that has been used and they get a different sensory experience the second time around. They are so jazzed by the cold semi-crunchy feeling shaving cream.\r\nWe've also mixed shaving cream and glue to create puffy paint...we painted with it when we did fire safety as smoke on our paper to crawl under.\r\nThe liquid watercolors have been used for painting and coloring the pasta, popcorn and rice. This has given the kids some great experiences with color, texture and measuring. \r\nWe used the cornstarch to make Oobleck (or non-Newtonian fluid). This was a great messy delight, that can be used over and over again.\r\nThe baby oil was mixed with flour to make cloud dough and the kids love the feel of it. \r\nYou have really MADE prek the experience it should be!","fullyFundedDate":1754410657662,"projectUrl":"project/sensory-fun-in-pre-k/9467652/","projectTitle":"Sensory Fun in Pre-K!","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Copas","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp10081439_orig.jpg?crop=240,240,x40,y0&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1752682834744","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10081439"},{"teacherId":7959192,"projectId":9465054,"letterContent":"Your donation to help fund my project was so impactful.
