Critical thinking and problem-solving are skills students are learning every day of their lives. Building and working with hands-on activities allow them to think outside the box and become creative, allowing their ideas to be utilized and for them to reach their full potential. These activities(Magna-Tiles, STEM builders, and Action-Stackerstm Standard Building Set) will provide many opportunities for my students to gain confidence in their ideas, understand how parts work, and allow them to be creative. Providing hands-on activities also allows them to work together in groups, teaching them how to socialize and problem solve with one another.
