My students are in a self-contained special education classroom and range from Kindergarten to 5th grade. They all love to do reading and math activities using technology. Unfortunately, not all of my students can use the keyboard and mouse. These touchscreen tablets with keyboards will allow all my students the opportunity to access reading and math activities using technology. The curriculum that we use in our classroom is fun and has a technology component to it which allows the students to work online on specific skills. My students will love to have access to the practice part of the curriculum and get to choose the correct answers by using the touchscreen. In addition, my students use Teach Your Monster to Read to help with strengthening their reading skills. The children can also access Abcya, Starfall and Coolmath to practice other skills.
