Our classroom is a safe place for all levels of learning and reading, but without supplies we can struggle to meet our goals! We are reaching for a goal of growing 2 YEARS in reading during our time in 4th grade, which means our reading centers need to be rigorous and fully stocked at all times! These supplies will help our classroom to operate more smoothly and will give students access to activities that they would previously have been unable to participate in. That includes sight word work on whiteboards (we need pens!), literacy crafts using glue and scissors, and task card centers, laminated for repeated uses. having ample supplies available allows students to focus on learning instead of on struggling to get what they need in the classroom.
