Our building does not have enough technology to support our student's needs in the classroom. These Chromebooks will allow me to give my students a better opportunity to develop oral language proficiency and the essential skills and content to make progress toward grade level expectations. The use of Chromebooks will also serve as a scaffolding tool so that no matter what the English language proficiency level a student can take initiative and collaborate with his classmates. Also being able to practice written communication and collaborative work using digital tools will substantially contribute to accelerating their learning. My students need opportunities to simultaneously develop oral language as well as learning about cultural norms and American customs.
