The Chinese Zodiac puzzles were better than I could have ever imagined. We were able to get chart paper boxes to make a puzzle tray for each table to start the puzzles on the first day of Lunar New Year and symbolically a few tables were able to complete the puzzle on the last day of the Lunar New Year! The puzzles encouraged strategy, teamwork, and problem-solving as students worked together toward a shared goal. Having a puzzle for each table allowed all of the students to participate and feel included. The best part was the excitement they felt as they accomplished their goal and completed the puzzle. \"Many hands make light work\" proved true to my fourth graders as they saw first hand the power of teamwork and cooperation to work on the puzzle together. \r\n\r\nThank you for sending so much sweetness our way from puzzles to Oreos!
