As a passionate, enthusiastic educator I realize I have the opportunity to make a positive difference in the lives of my students and in our community each and every day. I strive to create a community of mindful learners. The relationships and connections we make as a community build on kindness, collaboration and mutual respect. I want my students to feel safe, seen, heard, and cared for as learners and individuals as well as a part of our community. After teaching for 20 years, I find myself continuing to learn and grow every year as I aim to be an impactful teacher who leaves a lasting, positive impression on my students.
