I have observed a decrease in off-task behaviors such as tapping, leaving seats, or seeking constant movement, which allows for a calmer and more structured learning environment.\r\n\r\nIn addition to improved focus, the use of fidgets has increased overall student productivity. Students can complete assignments more efficiently and with greater accuracy when they feel regulated and comfortable. One specific moment that stood out was during a recent lab activity—students were able to move smoothly between lab stations without worrying about cords on the floor, allowing them to stay focused on the investigation rather than their surroundings. The improved organization has also made it easier to manage lab groups efficiently and keep materials running safely and on schedule.\r\n\r\nThe drafting chair with wheels has also been a game changer. I am now able to move easily between student groups, check in during labs, and provide support exactly where it's needed.
