The student population at our middle school are in need of basic necessities. Over 70% of the population here receive free or reduced lunch. In addition, our location has a large population that walks to and from school. The Warmth and Hunger Project will allow many of our students to get the needed boots, socks and staples. Our families look to our school for assistance as we are a strong visible force in our community. As a counselor at our middle school, my role is to identify supports to help the students to obtain basic needs with food and clothing.

About my class
