The requested charging station will be used to charge our new class set of Chromebooks. Recently my class received donated Chromebooks in order to engage students who are not as fortunate to receive resources. Since the majority of the students in my classroom miss multiple school days due to several reasons such as disengagement, language barriers, etc., students’ grades are decreasing and resulting in suspensions due to behavioral issues. With Chromebooks that are properly organized and secure, students become more engaged through personalized learning. In order to obtain and sustain engagement, these Chromebooks need to be properly charged and ready to use for various classroom activities. Because our school has such a diverse population, many of our students face various challenges that prevent them from learning. With properly charged Chromebooks, we are able to personalize their learning through a variety of programs. This Chromebook charging cart will also ensure the safety and organization of our new computers for our at-risk-students.
