My students work hard to achieve grade level and above work. Many are language learners and most live in poverty. Chromebooks will allow for collaboration between students enabling them to grow as learners. Chromebooks will allow my students to really focus, create, and collaborate. Chromebooks will allow my students to collaborate on group presentations, editing work and creating slide presentations. Students will then be able to access work at home or in the library. These are invaluable life skills. Collaboration and creating are skills that will enable my students to compete with more economically advantaged students of all backgrounds and see the world in new ways.
