When students see a book they requested arrive in the library, they know their opinions matter and that the library is a space built for them. A satellite library brings books directly to these students rather than expecting them to navigate the distance and scheduling challenges of getting to the main library.\r\n\r\nBy placing a rotating selection of high-interest books in the upper campus, we can provide students with an engaging, screen-free option while removing a significant barrier to library access. When students are done with their work, or they want to work together without the constraints of the chair, they may use the bean bags. \r\n\r\nOne experience I had that proved these chairs useful, was when a younger students who was over stimulated, hide under the table and use the chair to curl up in.
