Thanks to this donation I was able to practice the basics of long jump, the takeoff and the landing, with the takeoff we explored up and forward of one feet. For the landing, we practiced the balancing on two feet, cushioning with bent knees, ankles and hips. The best part is that these mats are non-slip for steady landings and can be use for indoor floors. \r\nMy students were so excited to see this big box coming to the GYM. The most fun part is seeing them use the new equipment right away and taking turns to try it out.\r\nI will use this equipment for my Track and Field unit. The students will have the opportunity to use this equipment for field games and not just running events. Thank you so much for generous contribution. Your support allows me to work more efficiently and better server my students. This activity supports their coordination and body control as students walk across the beam. This activity encourages students to go over and over until they improve their skills.\r\nMy students were very excited to see the new equipment. All of them wanted to try it right away and had many questions about the equipment. They were ready to participate in class and learn new skills.\r\nMy next step is to continue using the balance beam and mats in different stations so students can practice and build their balance, coordination, and body control. I will also introduce new challenges as their confidence grows. My goal is that every student feels safe, has fun, and continues improving their skills. \r\nThank you for helping me achieve all these goals and making this learning experience possible for my students.","fullyFundedDate":1778614429812,"projectUrl":"project/stick-the-landing/10117827/","projectTitle":"Stick The Landing!","teacherDisplayName":"Coach Peny","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp10361061_orig.jpg?crop=480,480,x0,y9&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1764348473095","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10361061"},{"teacherId":10361061,"projectId":10077023,"letterContent":"This is my third day using this equipment. Every day I have students from 5th grade all the way to kindergarten enjoying your donation. It has been a great experience for my students and I to have this equipment available in PE class. Now my students don't have to take turns to use the jump ropes. Each student can play at the same time. Having long jump ropes helps my students play in large groups and play games where a long jump rope was needed.\r\nThe ankle skip ball has been the best donation for the PE class. All the kids want to use it and are motivated to learn how it works. Many students didn't know how to use it at first, but by the end of the class, most of them were using them correctly. I'd say this piece of equipment is a student's favorite. \r\nMy students have the best reactions as soon as they entered the GYM and saw the new equipment. They started shouting with excitement, jumping up and down and running through the GYM. Everyone went running to the equipment and a lot of students were excited to use the skipper ball.\r\nI feel grateful for the donation. My students and I are excited to keep using this equipment. I'm so eager to see them developing new skills. Thank you so much for your amazing and kind donation.","fullyFundedDate":1770910314294,"projectUrl":"project/jump-giggle/10077023/","projectTitle":"Jump & Giggle","teacherDisplayName":"Coach Peny","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp10361061_orig.jpg?crop=480,480,x0,y9&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1764348473095","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10361061"},{"teacherId":10361061,"projectId":9922837,"letterContent":"I am so grateful for the opportunity you provided to my students with your donation. Thanks to your donation, we can carry out different activities in a safer and more enjoyable way. These materials are especially helpful for my students who, due to physical limitations, could not be on the floor and participate in certain activities. Now they can join in the activities and enjoy them along with all their classmates.\r\n\r\nMy students couldn't believe that after so many years of doing yoga and floor exercises in the hard floor, we finally had mats. Everyone was happy, excited and ready to open the package and use them. \r\n\r\nWe are not using these materials just for yoga, but also for floor exercises. This donation is benefiting almost 500 students, from kindergarten to 5th grade and we are using this equipment several times a week. I cannot thank you enough for this generous donation and the impact is having on my gym.","fullyFundedDate":1765843811212,"projectUrl":"project/mind-over-matter/9922837/","projectTitle":"Mind Over (Mat)ter","teacherDisplayName":"Coach Peny","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp10361061_orig.jpg?crop=480,480,x0,y9&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1764348473095","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10361061"},{"teacherId":9278108,"projectId":9628640,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for supporting our classroom and helping provide reusable water bottles and cups for my first graders. Because of you, something as simple as getting a drink of water no longer interrupts learning. \r\n\r\nWe are already using the water bottles every day. Students keep them on the shelf above their backpacks and I've noticed they are able to stay focused longer during reading groups, writing time, and math lessons without needing to leave the room. \r\n\r\nOne of my favorite moments was during independent reading when a student quietly took a sip of water and kept right on reading—no distraction, no lost learning time. It's made a bigger difference than I imagined.\r\n\r\nWhen the students first saw the water bottles, they were so excited! They immediately wanted to know which one was theirs. \r\n\r\nThanks to your generosity, our next steps are continuing to build healthy habits alongside academic ones. As we move forward with longer lessons and more independent work, students are learning how to take care of their bodies so they can do their best thinking. The backup cups and dispenser also ensure that no child ever has to go without water, even on forgetful mornings.\r\n\r\nYour support has truly helped create a more comfortable, calm, and focused learning environment.
