The equipment and supplies I have selected specifically relate to engaging students in different ways in the classroom. I have selected supplies and amounts strategically to limit the sharing among students so as to not spread any germs throughout the class. Students will receive their own materials such as writing supplies and notebooks and will use them at appropriate times. Some of the materials, such as flexible seating, also will provide my students with resources to limit their fidgeting and will help them focus more on instruction as well as when taking assessments. The art and writing supplies, teaching easel, and write-wipe pockets will improve student engagement, help students academically, and provide many opportunities to grow socially and emotionally in my classroom!
