These materials have already begun making a meaningful difference in our daily learning. My students were especially excited to see the new fraction games because they love learning through hands-on activities and friendly collaboration. Instead of fractions feeling abstract or intimidating, the games allow students to build, compare, and explain fractions in ways that are visual, interactive, and fun. I have already seen students using math language more confidently as they work together, and these experiences are helping strengthen their understanding as we prepare for the SBA.\r\n\r\nThe snacks have also had an immediate and important impact. For many of my students, having a simple snack during the day helps them stay focused, energized, and emotionally regulated. Something as small as a snack can completely change a student's ability to concentrate, participate in discussions, and persevere through challenging tasks. It has helped create a classroom environment where students are ready to learn and can put their best effort into their academics.\r\n\r\nThe social-emotional learning games have been another powerful addition to our classroom community. Students were thrilled when they first saw them and immediately wanted to play together. These games are helping us practice essential life skills such as communication, teamwork, empathy, self-regulation, and problem-solving. During our SEL block and even in small group moments throughout the day, students are learning how to manage emotions, resolve conflicts respectfully, and support one another as classmates and friends.","fullyFundedDate":1771643169315,"projectUrl":"project/mid-year-restock/10107072/","projectTitle":"Mid Year Restock","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Ellis","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp10084874_orig.jpg?crop=3024,3024,x0,y786&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1752901563863","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10084874"},{"teacherId":10084874,"projectId":9917580,"letterContent":"Mahalo so much for making such a meaningful impact in our classroom! The containers you helped provide are also making a big difference by keeping our books organized, protected, and easy for students to access.\r\n\r\nIn my classroom, reading is active, supportive, and student-centered. We work in small groups where students practice reading aloud, build fluency through repeated readings, and discuss what they've read to deepen comprehension. The excitement is real—students eagerly come to group, often asking if they can take books home or read just one more page. Having access to books that interest them has transformed reading from a challenge into something they look forward to. The hand vacuum has also been incredibly helpful in quickly cleaning up small messes, helping us maintain a tidy and welcoming reading space.\r\n\r\nSeveral of my students who previously struggled the most are now showing incredible growth and enthusiasm. One student who was once hesitant to read aloud now volunteers regularly, while another proudly tracks their increasing reading speed and accuracy.
