The requested floor desks and cushions will allow me to conduct small-group learning sessions for my students in an already crowded room. With the changes from the current pandemic situation, our room has 20 student desks spaced 3 feet apart, allowing for a small area to conduct small-group sessions. This small area currently has students sitting on the cold and hard linoleum floor. Students will be more comfortable with these desks and cushions, allowing them to be more focused and engaged. These items will also benefit students who sit farther away from the front board. This will allow them to pull up a desk do their work that is projected on the board and put it back when they are done.
