My Kindergarten Special Education students and their General Education peers will be taking their first steps into the Kindergarten virtually this year. I'm ready to teach, my students are ready to learn and their parents are ready and willing partners in their education. Unfortunately, the laptop needed for virtual learning is definitely not ready. We're on our third recycled laptop. Camera freezes, computer crashes, and battery woes have proven to be a challenge. We are a school with a limited budget and stretched technology resources. We are also a school with limitless commitment and professional determination to meet the needs of our students and their families. With this project and your help, we can. To provide my students with the engaging, uninterrupted instruction you would imagine any 5-year-old needs, they need technology that works for them, not against them.
