My classroom has turned into a hub of student activity where, my kids get to collaborate, plan, and lead gaming events for hundreds of students each month. \r\nThere are six screens all going at the same time with gaming systems and controllers aplenty for kids to come make new friends, learn sportsmanship, and have fun before school, during lunch, after school, and during our gaming events that happen multiple times each month. How crazy is it that there are middle schoolers who are actually excited to come to school every day because they know they are going to have a chance to hang out with new friends in a safe environment where they aren't being judged?\r\nBest of all, my student leaders are the ones setting everything up, teaching them how to play, encouraging them to be good sports, and feeling the difference of their efforts.
