Our student body officers do so much to help other students have a good experience in school. Beyond hands on leadership experience, I want these middle school aged students to be able to read from experts on what it takes to be an effective leader. Students will be given options from our school leadership library and then write a report on the book. Students will share lessons they learn from the books with their classmates. Through this project, students will learn valuable leadership lessons that will serve as a catalyst to their lifelong path of leadership and advocacy. Through these books students will be exposed to new ideas that that will challenge their world view and push them to be better. Students will grow and help shape the school culture with new ideas and concepts taken from these books.
