Since its arrival, students have been using it to explore the connection between music, memory, and learning. We've written short review songs together to help remember complex biomedical terms and processes, and it's been incredible to see how quickly students recall material when music is involved. The piano has turned difficult concepts into something fun, creative, and unforgettable.\r\n\r\nWhen my students first saw the piano set up in the classroom, their eyes lit up. Many of them couldn't believe we now had a real digital piano to use for our lessons! Several immediately wanted to try a few notes, and within minutes the room was filled with music and laughter (mostly laughter). That moment perfectly captured the joy of learning — students felt ownership of the classroom in a new way and were eager to start connecting what they learn in science with the rhythms and melodies they love.\r\n\r\nOur next steps include expanding our \"Music and Memory\" unit, where students will compose short jingles or songs about key topics such as brain anatomy, the nervous system, and how neurons transmit information.
