These materials are needed for students who live in the shadow of the Nation's Capital. My students are 100% low income and come from a neighborhood that has few monetary resources. Our staff is small but dedicated. Even though we are under-resourced (have no assistant principal or counselor and a building that is falling apart) we have a student body that is very eager to learn.
