Computers are an essential part of an English classroom. My students will use these laptops to access video lessons, learn from a variety of educational platforms, and revise their writing. While some students have laptops, we do not have a consistent number available for all students to use in the classroom. With these laptops, I will be able to provide more individualized instruction and break students into small groups to provide the one-on-one support that students need. With this technology I will be able to better support students in building essential reading and writing skills in the beginning of their high school career.
