The new JBL Flip 6 speaker has brought energy to our group activities—students love listening to music during brain breaks and using audio resources to support their learning. The assortment of board games, puzzles, and STEM activities (like Sequence, juggling balls, and the Coogam brain teasers) have transformed our indoor recess and enrichment time, giving students opportunities to build problem-solving skills, concentration, and teamwork in a fun and engaging way. Colored pencils, erasable pens, and other supplies have made creative assignments more vibrant and accessible for everyone.\r\n\r\nStudents are most excited about having more choices to express themselves and connect with others. For example, several students who sometimes feel shy during class discussions have really opened up while playing the 4 in a Row and stacking games, building confidence and friendships in the process. One student with fine motor challenges especially enjoys the tangram puzzles and colored pencils, as these tools make learning feel both achievable and fun. Everyday needs, like tissues, cleaning wipes, and bandages, are also met, ensuring our classroom is a safe, welcoming space for all. Your support has truly helped our classroom thrive. While home tech is often for scrolling, our new Apple Pencil Pro and Phomemo Printers are all about \"making\"—students are sketching out digital designs to improve our class' vocabulary over the place. Students know where find everything in Spanish language thanks that we have all labeled in class.\r\nWhen we need a break from the screens, the Jumbo Magnetic Spinner and UNO Show them \"No Mercy card game\" have brought a whole new level of energy to our lessons. We use the spinner to pick \"lucky\" math problems and the UNO cards to teach things like strategy and staying cool under pressure (especially with those tougher rules!). These tools have been a huge hit for my \"hands-on\" learners who need to move around to stay engaged. Our preschool supports a variety of student needs, so these supplies have been in use since the beginning of the year- aiding in our classroom setup, creating teaching aids, and encouraging student engagement. When I first got out the Wikki Stix and the LCD writing tablets, the students were joyfully surprised and interested in their use. I was excitedly asked \"Can we keep these out next time?!\"\r\n\r\nI uploaded four pictures demonstrating some of the DonorsChoose item donations in use. One features the storage unit that has specifically been housing speech therapy supplies. It has also served as our dress up mirror- a class favorite! One photo shows the LCD tablets aiding the students engagement for a literacy lesson. It allowed them a fun way to practice identifying and writing letters, each at their own pace, some practicing pre-strokes, others practicing identifiable letters. The Wikki Stix (featured in another photo) were used similarly, but for a math table. These items made learning into play! The last photo shows samples that are used daily by every preschool staff member. A class schedule and our rules have been laminated by the use of your laminator machine. These visual aids are essential for working with the youngins! They help the students with transitioning and with behavior management. As essential as these are, there are also dozens of other visual aids that have been prepared with your laminator. Visual aids adorn our classroom walls, help organize our belongings, and support our student's learning and development! \r\n\r\nWe can't thank you enough for all the support you've shown to our preschoolers! We will continue to benefited by these (and other unfeatured items) throughout the whole year, and hopefully, even for years to come! Providing these opportunities required new materials and school supplies. \r\n\r\nOne project in which the students were able to use the new supplies, was creating their own board game. They loved this project, as they were able to use their creative minds. The students had to follow certain criteria, pertaining to a storyline, characters, directions, and rules for the game. The new markers and color pencils, as well as more age appropriate scissors were welcomed. \r\n\r\nI also had to replace a few headphones so that I had enough working ones for my class. The students use these everyday. The pencil sharpener replaced one that was having challenges. The white binders and dividers are used to keep subject materials organized. \r\n\r\nThe students love the flexible seating, folding seats. I use these as an incentive. This is especially helpful for students who need extra support or prefer learning quietly. The students are most excited about using headphones for interactive lessons and listening to audiobooks, which makes learning more engaging and fun for them. I have noticed that some students who are usually shy or struggle with reading have become more confident and involved when they use headphones.
