Our school has outdated iPad 2s that cannot be updated to meet the needs of our incoming students. By using up to date technology, with new Kindle Fire tablets, students can work with programs that will enhance their learning in math and reading, allow them to watch as things occur in nature during our science units, and help them to learn about aspects of engineering and construction as we learn how to build our own structures. Technology is our future. We can't just let our kids drop to the wayside as newer and better technology is made available. Our students need to be able to experience things that they personally can't see or visit and this is done through the use of technology with new Kindle Fire tablets and the aspects of STEM learning in the classroom.
