My class does not have access to computers or Chromebooks. My two ESL students need to have individualized attention that is hard to manage as one teacher with 20 students. These Chromebooks will give them an opportunity to access technology that can help them while I work with other students. I am in a portable, so the carts inside the building become inaccessible when there is snow and ice outside. 3rd graders have a hard time carrying something as expensive as a Chromebook and maneuvering through the elements. These Chromebooks will enable students to use technology on a daily basis. This is such a great benefit to their education in that these programs can individualize their activities and help them learn at their own level in a fun and engaging way. We need headphones for each student, they can stay focused and on task.
